Thank you to Jen for letting me know one of my links was wrong. Here's the right link for the salted caramel butter bars. The mint meringues ended up a success too; for two egg whites, I used 1/4 tsp. of peppermint extract and 1/4 tsp. vanilla extract, and although the unbaked meringue seemed overpoweringly minty, the finished product is just right.
