I think this is my favorite FO yet, of all the things I've knit in the almost ten years since I started. I probably won't get as much use out of it as some of my sweaters and scarves, but it's the one I have most enjoyed both the knitting and the result.
It's a big stole; I knit two entrelac tiers less than the full-size pattern and I think it's a good length, but if I were to do it over, I'd make it narrower, maybe one column less. As you can see in the top photo, it comes down almost all the way over my butt, which means when my arms are up in front of me (holding a purse, a drink, etc.) the back bunches up at the bottom. For someone taller, I think this width would be fine.
I would love to see someone knit this with a fancier border; the pattern uses seed stich all the way around, but I think it would look beautiful with something that echoed the birch leaves or lily of the valley lace patterns in the body.

Incredible. That's my favorite thing you've ever made. Gorgeous. Hey! What about the chuppah? Have you showed us that yet? Have I forgotten? How could I forget that?
Anyway. Love this.

Yup I love your FPS! Funny you mentioned making it narrower I cast on for mine with 2 columns less I think. It was just cause I am lazy and wanted it to go faster, that and I wasn't sure if I had enough yarn. I wonder if I will ever finish it...

Wow! It's gorgeous! Looked great with the dress in your previous post. I imagine that color, it will go with a lot of your "fancy" dresses.
